Experienced Senior Marine Engineer Officer required ASAP, 28/28 rotation.

Duties include but not limited to the following:

  • Lead and supervise Engine officers and ratings teams.
  • Responsible for ships machinery operations and ship maintenance.
  • Responsible for ship/terminal maintenance to company and classification satistaction.
  • Conducts on the job training for junior staff takes proactive action as and when needed.
  • In charge of ships spare parts, consumable materials and responsible for maintaining minimum stock. Issue purchase requisitions.
  • Deputize and relieves FSO Chief Engineer as required.

Qualifications and experience needed:
  • Candidate must possess STCW 95 Chief Engineer steam tanker endorsements.
  • Must have experience as chief engineer/1st engineer on steam VLCC/ULCC.
  • Must have computer skills to use MS office and data base applications.
  • Must possess relevant ship safety/security ceretificates.
  • Must be familiar ISO/ISM Code.
